Our shop is about to start its second summer season, and not long ago, the question arose as to what focus we wanted to set for the quieter summer months. While winter is all about skiing & cozy off-piste looks, in summer we're also on the mountain in activewear. But the market is large, and the selection in Lech is already extensive.
We found what we were looking for with two new brands: And Wander & Satisfy Running.
And Wander – Functionality meets Japanese Aesthetics
When the And Wander team suddenly crossed our path in the Marais district of Paris, dressed in stylish outdoor clothing, we didn't hesitate to ask for the showroom address. And on the same day, we were initiated into the world of Japanese outdoor clothing.
The Japanese brand and wander sets new standards in a purely functional, dominating industry. Since its founding in 2011 by designers Keita Ikeuchi and Mihoko Mori, the founders have combined technical performance with a clear, minimalist design approach – entirely in the spirit of Japanese craftsmanship and aesthetics.
The Philosophy Behind and wander
and wander emerged from the idea that outdoor experiences should not only be practical but also inspiring. The founders, both with backgrounds in the fashion industry (including Issey Miyake), wanted to create clothing that works both in nature and in urban environments. The brand elegantly blurs the line between fashion and functionality.
Design Meets Performance
What makes and wander special is the combination of high-tech materials and aesthetic appeal. Reflective elements, water-repellent fabrics, and ergonomic cuts are an integral part of every collection. At the same time, the look always remains clean and modern – typically Japanese.
